Maya the Bee, also known as みつばちマーヤの冒険 is a Japanese action & adventure animation sci-fi & fantasy family television series that premiered on tv asahi on April 1, 1975. It ended on September 27, 1983. It stars Michiko Nomura, Masako Nozawa, Ichiro Nagai and Mina Tominaga.
The adventures of a young and happy bee who is sent by her queen to search for pollen, and in doing so she finds a new world that surrounds her, making friends with various forest creatures.
