Onihei Hankachō, also known as 鬼平犯科帳 is a Japanese drama action & adventure crime television series that premiered on Fuji TV on July 12, 1989. It ended on May 22, 2001. It stars Kichiemon Nakamura II, Etsushi Takahashi, Shinsuke Mikimoto and Matagoro Nakamura III.
Hasegawa is a chief police of big heart who leads a band of samurai police and cultivates reformed criminals as informants to solve difficult crimes.
