Series synopsis
The Island is a British drama mystery television series that premiered on BBC Alba on January 14, 2025. It was created by Nick Osborne. It stars Sorcha Groundsell, Sagar Radia, Iain MacRae and Sinead MacInnes.
Kat Crichton is a young Family Liaison Officer assigned to investigate the brutal murder of the wife of a local tycoon at a remote island mansion. The murder investigation unravels on the island of Lewis and Harris, from where Kat mysteriously fled ten years previously.
