Strike at Heart, also known as 驚豔一槍 is a drama television series that premiered on TVB Jade on May 5, 2005. It ended on June 1, 2005. It was created by Wen Rui-An, Terry Tong Gei-Ming. It stars Joe Ma Tak-Chung, Stephen Au Kam-Tong, Sunny Chan Kam-Hung and Charmaine Sheh Sze-Man.

Episode 1 In the assassination of Huizong, the king of Northern Song Dynasty, CHU GOT CHING NGO protects the king with his unique skill, Strike Spear. The assassin, the Saint of Sword, kills himself after the defeat. Before he dies, he advises CHU KOT not to help the fatuous ruler and make the citizens suffer. The wicked Prime Mister, CHOI KING, implies to the king that CHU KOT has something to do with the assassin, but CHU KOT in time produces the head of the Saint of Sword to prove his innocence. Actually, CHU KOT was the family servant of a loyal courtier, FU YIN TSAN, who was house-searched and confiscated properties by CHOI KING 20 years ago. TSAN entrusted CHU KOT to find his missing daughter and to pledge his loyalty to the country. CHU KOT feels guilty, and fears that the death of the Saint of Sword may bring more people from the martial art world to misunderstand him.… ... |

Episode 2 TIN YEE had devised a plan, making CHU KOT lose in the fight with YUEN. YUEN eventually unties his knot in heart to beat CHU KOT. Presenting a piece of ancient jade as a gift, CHOI asks the king to issue arrest warrant on people in the martial art circle so as to eliminate the remnants of TSAN. CHU KOT convinces the king to offer pacification instead. KING goes out to shop. And she returns to village, she is shocked to see that everyone in the village has been killed. CHU KOT appears and brings her to the grave of FU YIN TSAN and tells her everything. Enjoying the company of CHU KOT, KING leaves the mistake uncorrected and even takes advantage of it. KING wants to participate in the Lantern Assembly. CHU KOT does not allow first, but he later takes her to the Assembly in midnight. Episode 3 CHU KOT does not want to compete with him and YUEN leaves in anger. CHOI knows the grudges between them, so he instigates them to compete in the martial art world. TSIK looks for TIN YEE, and she stabs CHU KOT mistakenly with her needle. In the Pacification Convention, YUEN challenges CHU KOT. The king orders CHU KOT to fight and announces that whoever wins will be the Minister of SUN HAU Palace to be in charge of martial art people. CHU KOT loses the first round because of his injuries. TIN YEE arrives hurriedly and tells YUEN that CHU KOT is injured. YUEN holds back in the second round, but CHU KOT, unaware of the truth that YUEN is making concessions, uses all his might and injures YUEN eventually. YUEN mistakes that CHU KOT and TIN YEE are ignoble persons and he leaves with injures. When KING escapes from home to look for CHU KOT, she meets the injured YUEN.
