In The Realm Of Fancy, also known as 繾綣仙凡間 is a drama sci-fi & fantasy television series that premiered on TVB Jade on May 5, 2003. It ended on May 30, 2003. It was created by Chui Jing-Hong. It stars Kwong Wa, Shirley Yeung Sze-Kei, Louis Fan Siu-Wong and Marco Ngai Chun-Git.
YUEN (KWONG WA) was born in a royal family and he rejects black magic. In contrast, KAM (FAN SUI WONG, TERRY), who is from a poor family, is obsessed with it. When the power of black magic is proven again and again, YUEN slowly changes from doubting to believing in it.
WAN (YEUNG SZE KI, SHIRLEY) is YUEN’s promised wife before he was born. She is willing to live a simple life in a quiet town with YUEN. Before they get married, YUEN succeeds in releasing his spirit from his body and makes a jour ...
Premise

WAN (YEUNG SZE KI, SHIRLEY) is YUEN’s promised wife before he was born. She is willing to live a simple life in a quiet town with YUEN. However, one day in the world of the gods is equivalent to seven years in the human world. KAM and WAN keep his body intact. Meanwhile, they start falling in love with each other...

Episode 1 Mystery begins when a renovation of ‘Goddess Ninth Temple’ takes place at a quiet town in Province Tin Pen. The completion date of renovation is close; hence, Governor LI YUEN is invited to be the honor of guest for the opening ceremony of the temple. Just when the ceremony starts, strange thing happens. An unexpected storm arrives suddenly; and the statue of ‘Goddess Ninth’ disappears mysteriously. The temple administrator SUEN KONG critics the faithfulness of the villagers and states that ‘Goddess Ninth’ abandons Tin Pen is owing to their mistrust. Meanwhile, the villagers scare to bear the consequence and put the blame on YUEN instead. YUEN is smart; and he soon discovers the truth behind screen. He fools KONG to confess the story and forces him to draw the picture of ‘Goddess Ninth’ and places it at the temple again.… ... |

Episode 2 MO CHAN ZI plays black magic on the maid of WAN, FA KOO also and orders KOO to take WAN to the ‘Goddess Ninth Temple’. Then MO makes up a story to fool the villagers to obey him. He orders the villagers to build a gold statue for ‘Goddess Ninth’ and bury WAN with fire, so that her spirit can reunion with the statue again. The villagers listen to his lies without doubt. Just when they tries to lights up the fire and bury WAN; YUEN appears with special effect. Everyone believes they have seen magic. Therefore, YUEN takes chance to force MO confess his crime. YUEN studies the magic book of MO, Yun Tin bible and helps the victims to recover from hypnotize of MO. However, it does not work on WAN. YUEN feels guilty for making WAN suffers; while he drops the lamp carelessly and causes a fire. WAN nearly buries in the fire again. Luckily, her life is saved under the protection of YUEN.… ... |

Episode 3 In order to remove the damage of mirror, KAM visits the lake and cleans up the stain on the mirror daily. One day, he meets the father of WAN, KAU SAM YUN, on his way. Due to some misunderstanding, KAM offends YUN by blocking his way. As the Governor of Tin Pen, YUEN has the responsibility to maintain the order of the town. Hence, YUN assigns YUEN to question KAM. Meanwhile, YUEN helps KAM to defend trickily; thus, KAM is acquittal at last. On the other hand, YUN appreciates the talent of YUEN and feels pity that he just takes up such a small role in the province. It is a happy moment for WAN to reunion with YUN. WAN cannot wait to share her little secret with her father privately. Apart, KAM conflicts with YUN again; when YUN orders to execute a horse. This time, WAN helps KAM to release the horse in order to thank his help on recovering the mirror previously. Besides WAN, YUN has five sons who work in the Imperial also.… ... |
