Series synopsis
Always Ready, also known as 隨時候命 is a drama television series that premiered on TVB Jade on November 21, 2005. It ended on December 30, 2005. It was created by Marco Wing-Yin Law. It stars Ekin Cheng Yee-Kin, Bowie Lam Bo-Yee, Charmaine Sheh Sze-Man and Shirley Yeung Sze-Kei.
Matthew Ko, Aircrewman Officer II of the Government Flying Service (GFS), and Benjamin Yip, Pilot I, frequently work together. While Benjamin flies an aircraft, Matthew rescues people. Matthew and Benjamin are appointed to train Aircrewman Officer III, Sandra Si, and Cadet Pilot, Kelvin Chiang. Both fresh graduates from training school. Meanwhile, when Matthew's girlfriend Carrie Hong suddenly loses her memory and seeks comfort from Benjamin, it causes a rift between the two colleagues. GFS staf ...
Premise
Matthew Ko, Aircrewman Officer II of the Government Flying Service (GFS), and Benjamin Yip, Pilot I, frequently work together. While Benjamin flies an aircraft, Matthew rescues people. Matthew and Benjamin are appointed to train Aircrewman Officer III, Sandra Si, and Cadet Pilot, Kelvin Chiang. Both fresh graduates from training school. Episode 1 A group of university students visits the Headquarters of the Government Flying Services (GFS). Aircrewman Officer II KO HO FUNG MATTEWS acts as a guide to brief them the equipments of helicopters. The rescue alarm goes off. FUNG returns to his post at once and joins his team in rescuing an injured person, who suffers bone fractures and been saved by some fishermen. KO YU CHEONG, FUNG’s father, has a second marriage. FUNG gets along very well with his stepmother and half sister, KO HO OI. When a couple is hiking on TUNG LUNG Island, the wife loses her step and falls off a cliff. Her husband suffers the same fate when he is trying to rescue her. FUNG and YIP CHING WAN BENJAMIN, who is a Pilot I, hurry to the spot on receiving the report. WAN, who is very experienced, locates the injured before long. Despite the treacherous terrain, FUNG and WAN manage to have rescued the couple…… |

Episode 2 The 16 trainees who have applied for Aircrewman Officers III are divided into 2 groups for discussion. FUNG has a good impression on SZE CHOR KEI Sandra, the only female trainee and who has bright ideas during the discussion. CHIANG KA NOK KELVIN, an Aircrewman Officer II on probation, is on his first day at work. WAN, his superior, has been very demanding. NOK is teased by CHOW SIU KUEN NIKKI, a communicator at GFS; NOK does not know how to react. FUNG is cleaning up at LAM’s place when he recalls the time he and LAM spent together. Episode 3 Although the success rate of LAM’s operation is only 50 percent, FUNG is confident that she will recover. A teenager has gone missing after falling into the sea on TAI HANG Island. FUNG eventually locates him in the vast open sea, but he cannot survive the mishap. Despite this, his family members come to thank FUNG at GFS. When LAM is undergoing the operation, FUNG repairs the antique car that she loves most so that he can take her home in the car when she is discharged. EVA suggests going to WAN’s place to visit PAK after their date. Seeing that KUEN, a colleague and a neighbor of WAN’s, gets along well with PAK and that she is at WAN’s home at this time of day, EVA ridicules KUEN when WAN is not around. LAM wakes up after the operation. FUNG hurries to hospital, only to find that LAM cannot recognize him. |
