They Are My Noble Masters, also known as 君が主で執事が俺で is a Japanese animation comedy drama television series that premiered on tvk on January 6, 2008. It ended on March 30, 2008. It stars Shizuka Itoh, Asuka Minamori, Yuko Goto and Tomokazu Seki.
Uesugi Ren and his sister Mihato ran away from home because of domestic violence. When they at last reach the city they have a hard time finding work to earn some money. They eventually enter the service of the Kuonji family, making a pledge of absolute loyalty. Thus Ren's days of being a butler to the demanding Kuonji heir begins...

You Are the Master, the Servant is Me Ren and Mihato arrive in the city and are unable to find work. They meet Miyu who is about to collapse from anemia and help get home to her family's mansion. From there Ren and Mihato (through some odd circumstances) acquire jobs as servants to the Kuonji family, but they must first pass a one week trial period. |

Kuonji Days The one week trial period commences and Ren is assigned to assist the other servants while learning his job on his own. On the last day of the trial, Ren breaks a memento of the previous master after chasing a ferret of Yume's school's board member's wife. Instead of punishment, Ren passes the trial because of his hard work and hired as Shinra's personal attendant. |

Universe Ren is currently settling in the Kuonji household and trying to get used to Shinra's antics and innuendo teasing both to him and her sister Miyu. However fed up being constantly teased by her sister Shinra, Miyu suggest a capture the flag competition in the Kuonji mansion, in which the winner can do whatever they want to the losers. |
