Episode 1 The Qidan is invading the Song Dynasty. There are divergent opinions among government officials over whether to fight against or to negotiate with the Qidan. Emperor CHIU HONG-YAN consults the Tui Bei Tu, a reportedly very accurate prophetic book, for a decision. He, nevertheless, cannot understand the book at all. At a loss, he thinks of LEE SHING-TIN, descendant of LEE SHUN-FUNG who predicted years ago that he would be draped with the imperial yellow robe by his supporters one day. The imperial court offers a reward of a hundred taels of gold for the arrest of TIN. YIP YEUNG, who comes from a well-off family, is very interested in the Tui Bei Tu and pledges to get it at any cost. Someone wants to kill YUEN HEI and his mother. While they are pulling and dragging, they meet Qidan girl FOK YEE NA, who is performing acrobatics on the street with others. People on the street are very rude to NA because she is Qidan. NA, who is performing at Tsui Heung House, meets YEUNG again. YEUNG invites her to a drink but she turns him down. This turns the house into a state of chaos and HEI, who happens also to be there, is hurt. Someone has sent the Tui Bei Tu to YAN. YAN believes that that someone is TIN. To force TIN to take him and YEUNG disciples, HEI pretends to be seriously hurt. He also tells TIN that his days are numbered. TIN, nevertheless, sees through them and he plays a trick on them.
