Amores, querer con alevosía is a soap drama television series that premiered on Azteca Trece on January 15, 2001. It ended on June 22, 2001. It was created by Bernardo Romero Pereiro, Jimena Romero. It stars Bárbara Mori, Christian Meier, Juan Manuel Bernal and Miguel Ángel Ferriz Jr..
Actor Héctor Bonilla was considered for a stellar role in the series but he turned the offer down since he was working on the successful stage play 'La Escalera' (also starring Damián Alcázar) at Teatro Monterrey in Mexico City. Then director Luis Vélez, good friend with Bonilla, offered him a small supporting role for the series final weeks and Bonilla eventually accepted.
