Akui, also known as 東野圭吾ミステリー「悪意」 is a Japanese crime mystery television series that premiered on NHK G on November 19, 2001. It ended on December 17, 2001. It stars Kuranosuke Sasaki, Kanpei Hazama, Hiromi Iwasaki and Yoshiko Tokoshima.
Adapted from Keigo Higashino's novel of the same name (Englsih Title: Malice), the TV series explores the complex relationship between a famous novelist found dead and his best friend, under the investigation of Detective Saibara.
