Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev

Sati, who is the daughter of Prajapati Daksh, finds a rudraksh while drawing water from river along with her sisters. Prajapati Daksh, an opposer of Lord Shiv, dares to place Vishnu's incomplete idol in the temple. Prajapati Daksh performs Narayani Yagna to please Lord Vishnu as the statue was not entering the temple. Sati loses her way while collecting Parijat flowers in the forest. Sati gets visions of the solution for the statue enterting the temple in Rishi Dadhichi's ashram, whom she meets while finding her way back home. Accordingly, Sati places Shiv's idol in the incomplete Vishnu's statue and the statue enters the temple. Sati becomes emotional when she sees Lord Shiv for the first time.

When Shiva reveals himself in all his glory, Prajapati Daksh mocks him and claims he is superior. Shiva vows to destroy his arrogance. Daksh turns on Sati and blames her for the dishonour Shiva caused him. He asks her to choose between obedience to her father and her devotion to Shiva.

After announcing punishment for Sati, Prajapati Daksh decides to punish the sculptor who made the shivaling. He is unmoved even as his wife Prasuti pleads in Sati’s favour. Sati’s sisters are concerned that she may not be able to fulfil the conditions of her punishment.

Sati is still lost in Shiva’s thoughts. Prasuti assures her husband that it’s only a passing phase and Sati will get over it. She advises Sati that she must be truthful and tell her father that she has given up the delusions about Shiva. Sati is confused by conflicting thoughts.

Sati confesses her love for Mahadev to her father. An angry Daksh creates a Daksh Rekha around her and tells her that she or Shiva must never cross it. Unhappy, Sati tries to burn herself by crossing the line. Mahadev stops her and reminds her again of her duty to her father.

Revati is upset that Chandrama ignores her and prefers his other wife Rohini. Daksh tells Chandrama to give equal attention to Revati. When Chandrama doesn’t agree, Daksh puts a curse on him. Narad Muni pleads with Mahadev to do something as his silence is feeding Daksh’s arrogance.

After their marriage, Sati tells Mahadev that her every desire has been fulfilled. She apologises to him for all the humiliation he has suffered. The new bride also learns that Mahadev would want to live amidst nature, and not in the confines of a palace.

Vijaya, Sati’s sister, arrives just as the wedding feast is being planned. She taunts Shiva for making his home in the Himalayas. Nandi, Pret, Kan and others from Kailash come to the wedding feast. But it ends in chaos.

The guests from Kailash don’t know the ways of the palace, but Mahadev is happy to eat with them. Vijaya wishes to break Mahadev and Sati's marriage and shares her plans with Daksh. Sati apologises to Daksh for marrying against his will, and he consoles her. But Daksh has other plans.

The spirit of Sati appears before Lord Shiva and asks him to return to his Godly state and do what he must for them to be reunited. Nandi is overwhelmed as Lord Shiva once again becomes God. Egged on by Tarakasur, Dudumbhi torments Rishi Dadhichi. Will Shiva come to his recue?

Lord Shiva assumes the form of Kalbhairav, defeats the asuras and blesses Rishi Dadhichi. The two of them establish a Shakti Peetha in one of the places where Sati’s remains have fallen; that is Kashi. Tarakasur commands the Earth to swallow up the other remains, or ‘pind’ of Shakti.

When the Earth refuses to obey Tarakasur and destroy Sati’s remains, he threatens to demolish the Planet. Failing to stop Tarakasur, Shukracharya asks the Earth to send Sati’s remains to Lord Shiva. He rejoices at seeing Sati in front of him. But Tarakasur’s attack on Earth seems unstoppable.

Mahadev is delighted by Parvati’s devotion to him. Tarakasur attacks Devraj Indra and the deities. The deities seek help from Mahadev, who predicts that they will be saved by Bhagirath.

Bhagirath tries to protect the environment and the deities from Tarakasur’s attack. Mahadev is furious after learning that Indra is attempting to disturb Parvati’s Sadhana. He asks Nandi to take care of Parvati, but she requests Nandi to not disturb her during the ritual.

While Indra apologises to Mahadev, Rishi Dadhichi uses his miraculous powers to save the deities from Tarakasur’s attack. Mahadev advises Bhagirath to seek Ganga’s help to make the earth pure. He also decides to wear Ganga in his crown and fulfil her wish.

Mahadev and Parvati decide to leave for Amarnath. Mahadev assures a distressed Parvati that they will be blessed with a child. Meanwhile, Tarakasur assigns Maidanav to build a fortress for demons.

Parvati and Mahadev leave for the seclusion of Amarnath. Tarakasur orders his sons to kill Mahadev’s son once he takes birth but they refuse to do so. Meanwhile, Indradev assigns Agnidev to protect Mahadev and Parvati’s son.

Tarakasur arrives at Amarnath to destroy the energy from which Mahadev and Parvati’s son would take birth. Learning of his arrival, Indradev orders Agnidev to protect the energy. Unable to bear the heat produced by the energy, Agnidev runs away.

Meenakshi wishes to marry Mahadev, who informs her that he is already married to Parvati and grants her a boon. While Parvati apologises to Mahadev for being jealous, a dejected Kartikay leaves for Kritika Lok alone.

Kartikay visits the Kritika Lok but gets upset when they treat him as Senapati instead of their son. Tare challenges Kartikay to a fight. Kartikay accepts and kills Tare. Mahadev accuses Kartikay of cruelty.

Kartikay is tormented by the killing and vows not to engage in any fights without Mahadev’s permission. Meanwhile, Tarakasur’s father assigns Mahishasur to kill Kartikay. Mahishasur sets out to kill Kartikay but becomes fascinated by Parvati’s beauty.

Kartikay asks a demon to warn Tripat to be careful. Bruk impresses Mahadev with his devotion and receives a boon to kill as he pleases. He kills innocent beings and sets out to heaven to test his powers. Narad warns Indradev about Bruk.

Bhasmasur attempts to test his power on the gods but fails. He is fascinated by Parvati and decides to burn Mahadev. But Vishnu transforms into Mohini, who lures Bhasmasur with her dance and kills him.

Lord Vishnu sends Narad to invite Mahadev to a council. Tarakasur’s son plans to kill 1 lakh devotees of Mahadev in an attempt to stop Vajrang from committing suicide. Meanwhile, Kartikay plans to fight Tripat.

Brahma informs Narad that Parvati and Mahadev’s son will come into existence and maintain the balance in the universe. Parvati’s new son is created and calls her mother.

Parvati explains to Vinayak that he has come into existence to remove the troubles of the world. Everyone congratulates Parvati, who is upset by Mahadev’s absence. She accepts Indradev’s apology.

Parvati promises the Sant Kumars that they will be Vinayak's teachers. She assigns Nandi and the Shivgans to take care of Vinayak. Meanwhile, Devsena is in a dilemma about expressing her feelings to Kartikay.

Ganesha vows not to return to Kailash without Kartikay. Parvati is furious when Mahadev returns alone. Mahadev decides not to enter Kailash as Parvati warns him she will leave if her sons don’t return. Meanwhile, Kartikay feels guilty for treating Ganesha as a competitor.

Lord Vishnu assures Ganesha that he will convince Kartikay to return to Kailash. He informs Kartikay that being Tarakasur’s killer is the reason for his trouble and advises him to worship Mahadev. Parvati realises that Mahadev is hurt by her behaviour.

Parvati is determined to turn Mahadev from an ascetic into a social being. Mahadev decides to test Kartikay and appears in front of Kartikay and Ganesha in the disguise of a weak, helpless old man. Ganesha tends to Kartikay’s wound as he attempts to make a Shivaling.

Parvati orders Nandi to bring turmeric from Nahush’s house. Mahadev and Parvati donate Shabala to Vashishtha who provides the necessary items for the marriage rituals. Mahadev and Parvati enlighten Ashok Sundari about marital life.

Nandi brings turmeric from Nahush’s palace. Ganesha, Kartikay, and Parvati apply turmeric on Ashok Sundari. Mahadev comforts Parvati as she worries about Ashok Sundari’s marital life.

Maharishi Vasishtha welcomes Ashok Sundari and her relatives and feels proud to host the wedding. All the gods arrive for the marriage along with Lord Vishnu, who worships Ganesha first as per the rituals.

Parvati sends a message to Mahadev through the clouds while Mahadev collects flowers for her. He makes her a garland out of flowers. Meanwhile, Indradev kills the Apsaras when he fails to kill Trishula. Mahadev, in disguise, blocks Indradev’s way to teach him a lesson and Indradev attacks him.

Indradev apologises to Mahadev for his mistakes. Mahadev orders him to repent for his sins. Parvati is overwhelmed to meet Mahadev after a long gap. She requests him to decorate her hair with the flowers, but he soon finds out that the flowers have turned to ash.

Parvati forgets everything about Mahadev and disappears. Mahadev returns to Kailash alone. He informs everyone in Kailash that Parvati has lost her memory. Narad Muni reports the incident to Naresh and Menavati and advises them not to remind Parvati of it.

Mahadev and Parvati are reunited and spend some time together. Meanwhile, Lakshmi becomes worried about Vrinda's curse on Lord Vishnu. Dashanan meditates upon Mahadev. Shurpanakha tells Vibhishana that she suspects that Dashanan wants to impress Mahadev for his own benefit.

Kailash is decorated for Mahadev and Parvati, and the gods welcome them back to their abode. Indradev seeks forgiveness from Mahadev. Meanwhile, Dashanan continues to meditate on Mahadev. He tells his grandfather, Sumali, that he wants to bring Mahadev to his golden palace.

When Indradev apologises to Mahadev for his past actions, Mahadev enlightens him about Karma. When Kartikay refuses to be the king of the Devas, they choose Nahush. In Kuber's place, Dashanan asks him for his Pushpak Viman to visit Kailash.

On returning to Kailash, Mahadev is greeted by Ganesha. Narantak's brother Devantak, tries to keep Ganesha in captivity but fails to do so. Kartikay apologises to Parvati for hurting her feelings. He agrees to attend Ganesha's wedding.

Mahadev establishes Mallikarjuna Jyotirling. Indradev sends Devsena to divert Kartikay's attention. Lord Brahma accepts Devsena as his daughter and requests Mahadev to get her married to Kartikay. Will Kartikay agree?

Parvati and Mahadev apply haldi on Ganesha. Lord Vishnu enlightens Ganesha about the importance of marital life. Ravana is furious on learning that Mahadev did not invite him to Ganesha's marriage. Ganesha arrives at Prajapati Vishwaroop's palace, along with the wedding procession.

Kartikay gets married to Devsena in Brahmalok. Ravana visits Maydanav's palace where Mandodari catches his attention. He tells Maydanav that he wants to marry her. Ravana and Mandodari get married. Ravana soon learns why Mandodari agreed to marry him.

Ravana's attraction for Vedvati worries Devi Lakshmi. He asks Vedvati to become his devotee. She refuses and decides to sacrifice her life. Mahadev requests her not to, but she goes ahead. Mahadev decides to kill Ravana but Lord Vishnu stops him and tells him how his death will come about.

Mahadev informs Parvati, Ganesha and Kartikay about their future in human avatar. Pitamah tells Ravana that Kaushalya will give birth to the person who will kill him. Mahadev blesses Kaushalya to give birth to Lord Vishnu's next avatar.

Sita uses the Shiv Dhanush to feed the hungry saints. Janaka apologises to Mahadev for this. Vishwamitra tells Lord Rama and Lakshmana that they have to participate in Dhanush Yagna. Janaka explains the importance of marriage to Sita.

Sita performs Gauri puja and Parvati comes to bless her. Sita and Lord Rama pay their tribute to the Ganga at the same time. What mistake did Rishi Gautam make that Lord Rama had to correct?

Lord Rama helps Rishi Gautam reconcile with his wife, Devi Ahilya. Meanwhile, Sita performs Gauri puja and shares her reasons for doing so with Parvati. In Mithila, Janaka welcomes Rishi Vishwamitra, Lord Rama and Lakshman. How will Lord Rama and Sita meet?

Hanuman advises the Vanaras about their way of living. He prays to Mahadev to help him find answers to his questions. He then seeks Anjani's blessing and leaves towards the sun. Why does Indradev get worried seeing this?

Suryadev worries on seeing Hanuman approach him. Hanuman wants to become his disciple and seek knowledge from him. At first, Suryadev refuses, but later gives him a task to perform. He agrees to become his guru if he succeeds in the task.

Suryadev imparts knowledge to Hanuman, who expresses his gratitude to his guru. In Ayodhaya, Dasharatha and Sunayna welcome Lord Rama and Sita and bless them. Meanwhile, a child is born when Parvati covers Mahadev's eyes. This worries Lord Brahma and all the gods.

Andhaka sacrifices his blood and eyes to please Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma blesses him and grants him a wish. In Ayodhaya, Manthara influences Kaikeyi to use a boon granted to her and make Bharath the king of Ayodhaya. What will Kaikeyi do?

Lord Brahma worries on seeing the destruction caused by Andhaka and shares his concerns with Mahadev. Meanwhile, On Kaikeyi's insistence, Dasharatha agrees to make Bharath the king of Ayodhya. What will Lord Rama do?

Andhaka boasts of his power in front of Mahadev. Indradev blames Mahadev for the destruction caused by Andhaka. In Ayodhaya, Lord Rama worries about Dasharatha's health and promises Kaikeyi that he will go for Vanvaas soon.

Lord Brahma and Narad worry about Kali's anger. The deities find it difficult to pacify her. As Kali's anger starts destroying the world, Mahadev decides to take his Aghor form to control her. In Ayodhaya, Sita and Lakshman decide to go with Lord Rama for Vanvaas.

On one hand, Rishi Bhrigu and Rishi Kashyap decide to calm Parvati down for the welfare of the universe by performing a hawan. Kali's devotees on the other hand, pray to her to stay in the terrifying form and protect them.

Mahadev manages to calm Kali down. He succeeds in transforming her back to Parvati. Parvati apologises to Ganga for troubling her. But Kali's devotees are outraged and start torturing and killing innocent people. Will their devotion bring back Parvati's Kali avatar?
