Club Friday Season 14: Love & Belief

Nan and Joy, a duo of dancers and best friends possess different mindsets, ways of life, and beliefs about love. Nan never expects them to be the red flags in her friendship until she meets New, a handsome and well-established man who suddenly appears in her life. Nan senses there is some kind of strangeness going on but chooses to ignore it, and the two start going out. She's faced with a harsh reality stemming from her choice to ignore all of the warning signs.

Traditional Love tells the story of the most classic problems for newly married couples — the dynamics between in-laws and daughters-in-law who often don't get along. Especially in a traditional Chinese family where the mother always has high expectations for her daughter-in-law.

Mei has never been anyone's exclusive girlfriend in all her life. Every time she falls in love with a man, she ends up being a homewrecker in his relationship. Mei works in the customer service department and is involved in a relationship with Thiu, a married colleague. Due to Thiu's marital status, Thiu agrees to give 12 hours during the daytime to Mei and the other 12 hours to his wife. Mei is unhappy with the agreement but cannot get herself to leave Thiu because of love.

These are love stories of two women who hold different opinions on the marriage certificate. One of them legally got married after being happily in love. One day, her happy ever after comes to an end when her husband decides to marry another woman with the support of his family. The other woman is also married, but she has never been introduced to her husband's family. Her husband is hiding the fact that he still lives with his ex-wife and is dating many girls on the side. Their marriage certificates end up chaining their necks. Which path will the two loyal women take?
