The first Most Haunted Live episode sees the Most Haunted crew taking on Dudley Castle on Halloween night.

Most Haunted Live at Christmas takes presenters Yvette Fielding, David Bull, spirit medium Derek Acorah, and the rest of the ghost-hunting team to Dover Castle in a bid to name the band of brigands who beheaded and robbed a young Drummer Boy in the castle grounds.

The Most Haunted team take on the Midland Grand Hotel live on April Fools Day.

Series Two of Most Haunted opens with a very spooky investigation into a disused church which occupies the upper floors of Brannighans nightclub in Manchester. There are reports of considerable poltergeist activity and spectral sightings, including two entities that, according to spiritualist medium Derek Acorah, did not want a television crew in the building.

Tutbury, celebrated for its ruined castle, was once a market town seated on the south bank of the River Dove. The tower on top of the motte dates from the mid 18th century. The original Norman castle is said to date back to 1071 belonging first to Hugh de Avranches and then to Henry, Lord of Ferriers and Chambrais in Normandy. In 1174, following a disagreement with William Ferriers, King Henry II lay siege to the castle and ordered it to be demolished. In 1263 it came under further attack from Prince Edward (the future King Edward I). Two years later, Henry III gave Tutbury Castle to his younger son Edmund. It has remained in the hands of the Earls and Dukes of Lancaster ever since. In 1362, new walls, towers and buildings were added on by John of Gaunt, second Duke of Lancaster. And in the late 16th Century the castle was used to keep Mary Queen of Scots imprisoned. Work started on the construction of the airfield in 1942 and by the middle of 1943 East Kirkby's runways were operational and 57 Squadron, equipped with Lancasters, arrived. Overlooking the Cumbrian fells, Moresby Hall has been home to many noble families since the 12th Century - it is the oldest residence in the Copeland borough (West Cumbria) and a Grade I listed building. The name Moresby is likely to have derived from a connection with a settler (probably called Morisceby, Mawriceby or Moricebi) as early as 1150. The Moresby family were notorious in the medieval times, and aquired large estates through conquest and marriage. One of the most famous, Christopher de Moresby, fought at Agincourt and was honoured on the field with other knights by King Henry. Four generations of de Moresby later, Anne, Sir Christopher's great grand-daughter was sole heiress. She married Sir Francis Weston, who was executed by King Henry VIII, along with Queen Anne Boleyn and another of her alleged paramours. Anne finally sold Moresby Hall to a well-to-do merchant from Cockermouth - William Fletcher. The Fletchers were also a powerful family and owned Moresby Hall for 250 y

Edinburgh's South Bridge was built in 1785-88 to cross the valley between the High Street and George Square. Beneath the 19 enormous stone arches, a series of floors and walls were constructed to create a series of underground vaults. These were used by local shops and businesses as workshops and storage space. They also provided family accommodation – but it was far from luxurious. Groups of ten or more people lived together in small, dark, dank rooms. They had no ventilation and with the stench of fish oil lamps, stale rubbish and the contents of chamber pots emptied into the streets, living conditions must have been almost intolerable. In 1260 there was a wooden fortress on the site, which was destroyed by a warlord of the bishop of Utrecht. But 20 years later it had been rebuilt in stone, and was again besieged and plundered. History: In the early 15th century the North Wing was added, together with battlements and defence towers. During the latter half of the century, the big tower and parts of the South Wing were built. The Most Haunted Team visit the beautiful Warwick Castle situated in Warwickshire. Warwick Castle first fort was built in AD 914 which was a wooden construction but it was made into stone in 1260, with halls and towers added during the tudor, and victorian eras etc has made this Castle what it is today, a beautiful structure. Dark shadows, and Ghostly footsteps are heard throughout the Castle. A ghost womens screams and a babys cries have been heard in the chamber. There is plenty of ghostly activity, but the Most Well known Ghost to haunt the Castle is Sir Fulke Greville who was brutally stabbed to death by his servant on September 30th 1628, but he only died through the infected wounds 27 days later. The servant who killed him took his own life due to guilt, Sir Fulke Greville has been seen regulary by his own portrait in the Castle. Guest Psychic Ian Lawman returns to the show.

The Most Haunted Team visit Gladstone Pottery museum in Stoke On Trent. Way back in the 1770's this area boasted one of the area's most productive sites. Considerable growth was then tempered by a clean air act then forced the coal fuel ovens to burn one last time in 1960. Furniture moving, footsteps, and cold spots are regulary experienced in the Museum. A poltergeists, black phantoms, and the yard sees ghostly workers in victorian clothes still doing the work in death as they did in life. Nameless men and women still wander in the dead of night. Yvette and the paranormal team travel to Speke Hall in Liverpool to try and capture any paranormal activity happening there.

Built in 1820 the site was home to both a jail and courthouse serving all of Argyll. Over 6000 men women and children were tried and held in the prison where convict’s shared just eight cells with vagrants and the insane. Now used as a museum, visitors have reported many ghostly incidents in the cells including whispering, clanking chains and dark figures cowering in the shadows. The Most Haunted team have one night to investigate these stories, but who will visit them during the late night vigils.

The team travel to Essex tonight and venture into the Tudor gatehouse in search of it's former residents.Construction was started by Henry 1st Lord Marney.When he died in 1523, however, his son John carried on his work making Layer Marney Tower one of the grandest buildings of it's time.

The current incarnation of the castle was built in 1153 AD, and used as a shell keep.It played a part in two historical events - housing West Country barons while they were on their way to fight King John in Runnymead, before the Magna Carta was signed, and, perhaps more well known, for the incarceration of Edward II, who was deposed by his Queen, Isabella, and her lover Roger Mortimer.The King was tortured, and died an agonising death.His screams, according to legend, can still be heard each year on the anniversary of his passing.

One of the many ghosts said to haunt the building is that of a woman found bricked up in a wall.Her skeleton was discovered on the second floor of the keep in the 1830's, and her presence is said to have caused one soldier to die of fright. The world famous ghost hunting team return for a new series and start in a small theatre with a big problem...ghosts. Once an iron foundry this theatre has stood since 1893 and is said to house so much activity that the theatre’s director asked Most Haunted for help.
