Na de grote verrassing bij Richard vorige week, is het tijd dat de waarheid op tafel komt. Op de andere boerderijen worstelen de boeren met de keuze tussen gevoel en verstand. De praktische keuze ligt voor de hand; een partner die in de buurt woont en op korte termijn op de boerderij kan komen wonen, is nou eenmaal heel handig. Maar wat nou als het gevoel uitgaat naar degene die niet aan deze criteria voldoet?

Op de boerderijen van Frank, Gijsbert en Marcel zijn na vorige week nog maar twee vrouwen over. Annemarie moet vandaag haar eerste keuze maken. Tot die tijd maakt ze gretig gebruik van het feit dat ze drie sterke mannen op de boerderij heeft

De logeerweek is in volle gang. Richard en zijn vrouwen genieten met volle teugen van elkaars gezelschap en van de mooie boerderij. Bij Annemarie moet er altijd hard gewerkt worden, maar nu ze drie assistenten in huis heeft, gooit ze er nog een schepje bovenop.

De vrouwen zijn nog maar net op de boerderij en het is nog even wennen. Beetje koud, beetje regenachtig en dan ook nog een vreemde omgeving. Gelukkig zorgen de boeren voor een warm onthaal van de drie logees.

In deze aflevering neemt de boer zijn vijf favorieten mee uit. Door samen dingen te doen, krijgen ze de kans om elkaar beter te leren kennen. Aan het eind van deze aflevering komt Yvon met de wederkerende, lastige vraag: wie gaat er mee naar de volgende aflevering en wie valt er af. Iedere boer neemt in deze aflevering afscheid van twee dates. Drie blijven over!

De vijf boeren ontmoeten ieder hun tien favorieten. Een prachtig kasteel in het midden van het land is deze dag het decor van die ontmoeting en Yvon Jaspers is de gastvrouw. De boeren ontvangen hun dates hier voor korte kennismakingsgesprekjes van maximaal vijf minuten.

Nog nooit ging Yvon met zo'n goed gevulde postzak op pad. Er zijn maar liefst 2.354 brieven gekomen voor de boeren en 1.029 daarvan zijn bestemd voor één boer. Twee records... Wie van de boeren heeft zoveel harten sneller doen kloppen?

One farmer is still dealing with the surprising departure last week of a woman on his farm, and another's remaining ladies question the motives their farmer had in sending someone home.

As time together on the farms passes, the connections forming are undeniable. On the solo dates romance is blooming for the farmers, while the realities of ranch life set in for several of the ladies. As each date brings the opportunity for love to grow, the potential for heartbreak intensifies and one of the ladies departs unexpectedly.

Om te beginnen blikken we terug naar 2009 met een speciale Sinterklaasuitzending rond de boeren van het vorige televisie-seizoen. Hoe is het met de boeren? En: zijn de stellen nog bij elkaar?

In serie 2 koos boer Martijn na een moeilijk keuzemoment voor Marlies. Yvon Jaspers bezoekt hen twee jaar na dato. Boer Pros (serie 2) hield aan zijn Boer zoekt Vrouw avontuur een liefde over: Jolanda. Inmiddels zijn ze getrouwd en trotse ouders van een dochter. De Franse variant van de populaire datingshow heet 'L’Amour est dans le pré’. Uit de Franse versie een opvallend verhaal. Ook praat Yvon met ondermeer minister van Landbouw Gerda Verburg, zij blijkt van alle ontwikkelingen in het programma goed op de hoogte te zijn.
